Project Description
As the owner and lead designer of EDENbyDESIGN, I had the privilege of revitalizing the Lucky Horseshoe Inn, a short-term rental just minutes from downtown Dallas. The client came to me with a modestly performing Airbnb and a clear goal: boost bookings, increase visibility, and unlock the property’s untapped potential.
The Challenge
While the home had solid bones and a prime location, it lacked a cohesive style, distinct identity, and the kind of standout features that make an Airbnb listing irresistible. The property needed a strategic, design-driven makeover to enhance its visual appeal and elevate the guest experience.
My Approach
I curated a playful Western-meets-modern theme to give the Lucky Horseshoe Inn a unique personality—perfect for captivating online photos and resonating with travelers. Each space received updated furnishings and thoughtful styling to feel both comfortable and memorable.
To broaden its appeal, I incorporated guest-centric upgrades, including:
A fully outfitted game room with a pool table and arcade games
An inviting outdoor entertainment area with BBQ, lounge seating, and gathering space
These enhancements were designed to appeal to families, groups, and leisure travelers seeking a fun yet functional getaway.
